About our Non-Profit

Cocoa Robotics (The Organization) is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit booster club that manages the financials and intellectual properties of FRC 1592 | The Bionic Tigers (The Team). The goal of The Organization is to raise awareness of The Team and its goals in our local community and greater area. The Organization does this though the organization of community outreach initiatives, public awareness events, food drives, and community service.
The Team is a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team based out of Cocoa Jr./Sr. High School in Cocoa, Florida. Open to grade levels 7-12, The Team designs, builds, and competes with a unique robot every year that meets the game requirements of the FRC game outlined in the season kickoff held every year on the first Saturday of January with competitions taking place in late mid-to-late March through early April, culminating in the FIRST World Championship in mid April.
