Nexus - 2020/2021

Nexus was designed for the 2020 Infinite Recharge season and is our first robot to lose the Swerve Pod drivetrain in favor of a chain-driven tank drive. This was chosen due to design constraints from the gather and shooter mechanism. The robot was not able to compete in an official capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We still learned plenty from Nexus and continued to improve the design.

The team did not compete in the at-home challenges and spent the remote work time and limited lab time to completely overhaul our lab in conjunction with a remodel Cocoa High was doing.
